Hello and thank you for visiting our website. It is individuals like you who can assist us in making a difference in our community and the world we inhabit today.
Hi! I'm Mistie, a survivor of domestic violence and the founder of The Purple Lotus Foundation. My vision is to learn from experts in their fields about how we can foster positive change, offer more support and encouragement, and inspire communities to unite with the same mission: to reduce the rising incidence of domestic violence in our area.
Why floral workshops? As a former florist, flowers have always been my passion, my love, and my purpose. They inspire feelings of hope, love, and joy. Hosting a workshop where people can not only learn about floral design but also gain expert insights on contributing to positive change in their community is, in my view, a win-win situation.
Domestic violence affects people from all walks of life... we all know someone who has gone through it, or perhaps you have experienced it yourself. I envision altering the stigma surrounding domestic violence. The shame should be on the abuser, not the victim. I'm here today because I chose not to let the shame he caused impact my life any longer. I am strong, I am significant, and I will live my life without fear.
We invite you to help create a positive change in your community, enabling survivors to live and love without fear.
Schedule a floral workshop for your community now!
